The Lady Rebels defeated Boiling Springs last night in their final home match of the season to get seeded 4th in the region. The Rebels swept Boiling Springs in 3 (25-13, 25-18, 25-19).
Lauren Ziegler, Sr, showed off her hitting and blocking abilities on her senior night. She had 12 kills and 2 blocks. She plans to attend Converse College to major in Biology and play volleyball.
Kristen Dodge, Jr, had a double-double on the night as she had 10 kills and 24 assists. Kirsten McCraw, So, had a strong night as she had 8 kills and 23 digs. Caroline Shin, Jr, was just behind her in digs with 22. Hannah Fisher, So, had 16 digs. Morgan Allen, Jr, had a solid performance as she had 5 kills, 15 assists, and 7 digs.
The Lady Rebels will begin playoffs on Tuesday, October 25, 2011. The team predicts they will play at Woodmont for the first round.
