The Lady Rebels started this season off with a win against Chapman 3-0 (25-17, 25-17, 25-20).

The Lady Rebels controlled the first set, but had to fight back from being behind early on in the second and third set to finish in three.

Leading the way for the Lady Rebels was Kristen Dodge, Jr, who had a double-double.  Kristen had 10 kills, 11 assists, and 5 aces.  Lauren Ziegler, Sr, had a strong night at the net with 5 kills and 2 blocks.  Morgan Allen, Jr, played great defense and set well with 6 digs and 11 assists.  Kirsten McCraw, So, hit the ball well with 5 kills and picked up 10 digs.  Caroline Shin, Jr, played a great match as libero with 19 digs.  Hannah Fisher, So, and Deanna Patterson, Jr, also played strong defense as defensive specialists with 7 digs each.  NaScottisha Drummond, Fr, came up huge in the second set with 2 blocks.

The Lady Rebels will return to action at Broome on Tuesday, September 6.  Both JV and Varsity will be playing in a tri-match with Broome and Spartanburg.
