The JV team had to get out their first match jitters last night.  The team fought back in both games but fell short losing both 25-20.  Sophomore Anna McCarthy led the team with 8 digs.  8th grader Brooke Waldrop led the team in kills with 3.  Sophomore Alysa Burke and Freshman Jessica Sanders led the team in setting and serving.  Both players served 3 aces.

The varsity team played great against their scrimmage with Greer winning in three sets 25-11, 25-16, 25-16.  All of the players played well in the scrimmage.  Kristen Dodge, Jr., had a double-double with 12 kills and 12 assists.  She also led the team in aces with 4.  Morgan Allen, Jr., led in assists and digs with 14 and 7 respectively.  Lauren Ziegler, Sr., hit the ball hard with 9 kills.  Caroline Shin, Jr., and Deanna Patterson, Jr., split time as libero and DS.  Both passed the ball well and picked up 6 digs and 5 digs. 

We will have another scrimmage Monday at Spartanburg with Broome and Spartanburg.
