The Lady Rebels defeated Greer High School 45-40 at the home opener on November 29, 2011. The Rebels fought off Greer's three-point shooting and ball-handling with offensive drives, tenacious defense, and aggressive rebounding. Junior Kandance Starks and Junior Charrion Morgan led scoring with 10 points each, while Charrion also had the most rebounds and steals. Other top scorers were  Breanna Hines (9)  and Senior Lillian Funderberk (8) and Sophomore Lauren Duggar was the defensive leader on Greer's skilled shooters. The whole Lady Rebel team combined to have a successful start to this year's season. The team looks forward to the away game at Gaffney High School this Friday, December 2, 2012.
