The Lady Rebels fell in Roebuck to the Cavaliers 31-22. The team was
scoreless in the second quarter, not because of lack of good shots, rather the
good shots we took did not fall. Coach Turner believes that "[The team] had a great night defensively and I truly
believe that as Vince Lombardi said, 'We did not lose the game, we just ran out
of time.'"
The JV edition of the Lady Rebels continues on the road Thursday, January 26 at
Boiling Springs. Mark your calendar, the last home game for the season is
against Hillcrest on Monday, January 30 at the Byrnes Freshman Academy.
The Varsity teams play Tuesday, January 24 at home against Dorman and play host Boiling
Springs on Friday, January 27. The Lady Rebels will tip at 6 p.m., and the boys will play after.
