The Lady Tennis program competed at Greer High School yesterday, in our second scrimmage of the season.  The Varsity defeated Greer 4-3, winning from the bottom up.  

Our #3, Parker Birch (7), won 2-0, #4 singles, MK Flynn (10), won 2-0 with a tie-breaker to settle the first set, and #5 singles, Caroline Creel (12), won 2-0 and was the only Byrnes player to end a set with 6-0 over Greer!  Our #2 doubles, Karina Suri (12) and Shae Lyles (12) won their match 2-0.   Our #1 singles, Kylie Birch (11), and #2 singles, Haven Coker (12), both lost 2 sets to Greer. 

Kylie and Haven also lost their #1 doubles match against Greer, 8-3.  

Yesterday's match was a glimpse into a, hopefully, promising future.  We have a lot of young talent on the team and look forward to having them for the next few years.   

We play Blue Ridge at home on Wednesday, August 24th at 4:30 pm.  The home courts are located behind Beech Springs I.S.    Thanks for your support and I hope to see you there!
