A WORD FROM COACH PAXTON

Welcome to the Byrnes High School Lady Tennis Website!  Byrnes is a 4A school playing in Region II.  Currently, the Lady Tennis program is in a building stage.  We are coming into the 2011 season with 2 returning varsity players.  I am pleased to say that we have more young athletes (7th and 8th graders) participating this year than ever before.  The future of the program looks bright with these young athletes.

If you are interested in playing high school tennis, we will have open court from May 1st to 21st.  We will also have voluntary practice and weight training during the summer.  Practice will be from 8:00-11:00 a.m., Monday-Thursday.  You will need a current physical to participate in any of these activities.

We will be hosting a D5 and Spartanburg Parks and Recreation Youth Tennis Camp.  The camp is open to all rising 1st through 6th graders.  More information will be available in the Spring.
