The Lady Rebels varsity team ended the season with a victory at Easley, 39-31. The Rebels won on Easley's Senior Night in a great basketball atmosphere with a full crowd and pep band. Leading scorers were freshman Breanna Hines (15) and sophomore Catherine Gillard (9). Senior Lilian Funderburk led in rebounds (5) and Breanna Hines led in steals (4). The Lady Rebels barely missed state playoffs this year and will be working very hard in the off-season for 2013!

The Lady Rebel basketball team would like to thank all of the faculty, staff, family, and community members who purchased tickets to win the Valentine's Day Package Giveaway. The lucky winner of the package was Mrs. Lucy Comeau of Greer. Top ticket sellers were Cherae Kinnunen and Sydney Dempsey, with over 200 tickets sold each! The Lady Rebels raised over $1,100 and are very thankful for all of the giveaway supporters. Happy Valentine's Day to the Rebel Community.

The varsity squad was victorious on Senior Night and the last home game with a 38-33 win over Riverside!

The high scorers were freshman Breanna Hines (16), senior Lilian Funderburk (9), and sophomore Catherine Gillard (8). Freshman Sydney Dempsey led in steals (6) and Gillard led in rebounding (7). Seniors Lilian Funderburk, Rebecca Howell, and Jameshia Logan were honored after the game. Our seniors have provided strong leadership amongst a young squad and will be greatly missed!
