A word from coach norris

The girls Cross Country team is continuing to grow in number.  Last year as a team there was 7 girls, and this year the team has 13.  Half of this year's team is middle schoolers, and the coaches are excited about what progress the athletes are already beginning to make this early into the season.  The team has 5 returnees from last year: 2 seniors: Averi Jolly and Grace Welch, 2 sophomores: Alyssa Bacon and Tori Davies and 1 9th grade returnee: State Champion, Emma Jennings!!  Last year's team missed going to state by one spot, and this year goal is to be the suprising team that goes to state and ranks high in the region.  Please come cheer the team on at the first home meet, September 20th on the new course at Byrnes High. GO REBS!!!!
