The JV and Varsity teams lost to Hillcrest last night 0-2 and 0-3 (8-25, 17-25, 19-25).
Standout players for the JV team were Ka'Leah Alverson, Fr, with 2 kills and 1 block, Anna Brockman, Fr, with 3 aces and 1 kill and Anna McCarthy, So, with 5 digs and 1 ace.
The Varsity picked up their first loss of the season. The Lady Rebels were led by Morgan Allen, Jr, with 6 kills, 6 assists, and 1 block. Kristen Dodge, Jr, had 1 ace, 4 kills, and 9 assists. Caroline Shin, Jr, had a solid defensive night with 7 digs. Lauren Ziegler, Sr, had 4 kills on the night with 1 block.
The Lady Rebels will return to action tomorrow night against Dorman. It will be a home match, and the team hopes all will come out and support us!!!
