Byrnes vs. Chapman

Both the JV and Varsity team defeated Chapman last night.  The JV won 2-0 and the Varsity won 3-2 (25-17, 20-25, 24-26, 25-13, 15-5). 

Leading the way for JV were Kelly Robison, So, and Anna Brockman, Fr, with 4 aces and 2 kills each.  Jessica Sanders, Fr, set well and added 3 aces and 6 kills.  Becca Schell, 8th, added 3 aces and 5 digs while Anna McCarthey, So, played solid defense with 10 digs.  Alysa Burke, So, led the team in assists with 5.
Kristen Dodge, Jr, led the way for the Rebels as she had 3 aces, 13 kills, 11 assists, 14 digs, and 2 blocks.  She served 10 out of the 15 points in the last set!  Morgan Allen, Jr, also had a strong night with 17 assists and 5 blocks.  Lauren Ziegler, Sr, had a solid night at the net with 9 kills and 5 blocks.  NaScottisha Drummond, Fr, dominated the net with 8 blocks.  Caroline Shin, Jr, played great defense and picked up 16 digs.  Kirsten McCraw, So, had 7 kills and 13 digs.  Charrion Morgan, Jr, provided consistent hitting with 6 kills and no hitting errors.   

Both teams will play at home Tuesday, October 11, 2011 against JL Mann (JV at 5:30 p.m. and Varsity at 6:30 p.m.)

In rteaily a team like Boise State is before Georgia. Generally larger faculties warrant more attention and thus their lines will be really tight. Was this answer helpful?
