Congratulations to the following Byrnes Boys Basketball award winners: Tavin Richardson, Malik Brewton, and Charlendez Brooks were selected All Region II 4A. Charlendez Brooks was also selected to the premier South Carolina vs. North Carolina All Star game. Charlendez is the first player ever from Byrnes to be selected to play in this game.

Byrnes will host Boiling Springs tonight instead of tomorrow.

The boys game will begin at 6pm.

The girls game will follow at 7:30 pm.

The varsity boys basketball team defeated two top ranked 10 teams last week to cap off a great week of basketball. The rebels started the week by defeating #3 ranked Dorman 44-43. The Rebels were led in scoring by Mike Miller with 11 points and they got 6 monster blocks from the eraser, AKA- Charlendez Brooks.On Friday night, The Rebels traveled to Gaffney and defeated #7 ranked Gaffney by a score of 54-42. Tavin Richardson and Syverio Jones combined for 30 points and all the Rebels played key roles in knocking off two top 10 ranked teams. Please come out and support the Rebels in their next home contest this Friday v. Wade Hampton.
